Dr. Asa G. Hilliard, III was the Fuller E. Callaway Professor of Urban Education, Department of Educational Foundations, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He served among distinguished roles that included Editorial Consultant for John Garrity's The Story of America, and produced a video program, with Listervelt Middelton, Master Keys to Ancient Kemet.

This scholarship serves as a dedication to his scholarship, commitment and service to the quality, holistic, truthseeking and equitable educational experiences at all levels for all people. We as roots scholars are committed to continuing his legacy, "to DO ASA".
